I am 28, and I just experienced the most major flair I have ever had. I was in the hospital for 11 days. I had inflammation of the sac around the heart and other issues. I was out of work for a month, which did not sit well with the company. I did not qualify for Family Medical Leave because I hadn't been there a year. Now I'm out of a job and caught between a rock and a hard place. I enjoyed my work as a Volunteer Coordinator for Hospice. Working is not a problem, but missing days and the uncertainties of lupus make it hard. Disability is impossible to get. Prayer and faith is what keeps me going for now.

Comment on The sun does not shine every day

We are almost at the end of another year. Can we talk about the goodness of the Lord in our lives this year? We would love to hear your testimony! You will be surprised at the similarities of the challenges that we encounter. God said "...there is no new thing under the sun." God bless you, my friend.

</rdf:RDF>
